Cha’Mone!!!
(Fernando McGregor 11/05/2009)
Beat It, Beat It
Beat him, Beat him
Chant the locusts
Beat him, burn him, prick him
Is this human nature?
Crucified
Killed
Buried
He will rise again
And his fragile shiny glove
Will turn into the clenching fist of wrath
To judge those who judged him
To strike those who beat him
Who’s bad!!?
Hee…Hee…Hee…
Cha’Mone!
I love the Cha’Mone!
There is much to like about this poem. I really enjoy the “fragile shiny glove” but think that the line next line could “pop” a little more…I mean, he’s dead, the fist at that point could be anything…
Might I suggest you let your dream self run wild.
Thanks for the poem. You are a star.

when writing i was thinking about the apostle’s creed prayer, kinda parallel, because some of the words may fit MJ’s life, and if Jesus, as Jesus, is acting in “revenge”, then a mortal “demigod” will do the same. just a thought.

Heal the World: Icon’s epitaph
To heal the world, we must heal ourselves.
Family is the glue that binds.
Unconditional love and forgiveness are our treasures.
Heal the world. Make it a better place.
For you and for me, and the entire human race.
